PAST EVENT - Beginners Drawing Weekend Class

Join us this March and immerse yourself in my Beginner Drawing Class, where we will explore the wonders of nature through observation. Whether you are a budding artist or have never picked up a pencil, this course is designed to nurture your artistic skills and provide you with the tools to appreciate and depict the natural world around you.

What we will cover:
Composition: We will cover basic compositional skills to make your drawing engaging and interesting.
Observational Line Drawing: Learn to see like an artist – how to translate three-dimensional objects into two-dimensional drawings. Learn how to see, measure, and create more convincing drawings from real subjects.
Shading Techniques: Explore the world of shading, bringing depth and dimension to your drawings. Crystal will talk about how to see light and shadow as an artist so you can bring new life to your work even after class is over.

When: March 2-3, 2024
Where
: Art society of Strathcona County, Ottwell Centre, Sherwood Park, AB.
